The administration of every province is given to a person with high executive power known as Provincial Governor. He/she has high executive power to supervise the governors of counties, district governors and the officials of state departments in the province except provincial Judiciary system. Provincial Governors in the territory of their administration are the high representative of the government and have the responsibility to administer the policies of the government in the province. They have high executive and plenipotentiary power to supervise all executive activities in the province. Provincial governors like all other state officials act according to the government rules and regulations. According to the National Employment Law, provincial governor has higher position than the deputy of interior minister and is appointed as high representative of the interior ministry in the province. The authorized representative of provincial governor in the counties are the governors of counties who are responsible to administer state polices and have plenipotentiary power to supervise the state departments in the county.
